Gerard Pique has recovered from an intestinal virus that made him miss FC Barcelona’s
4-1 win over Las Palmas. The defender had to go to the hospital to be
treated but is returning to fitness, as he trained apart from the group
today.
There’s a good chance he will be available for the last
league game of the season, against Eibar. Javier Mascherano is also
recovering, in his case from an injury, while Sergi Roberto will be back from suspension.
All in all, Luis Enrique
is recovering his defenders and may have less to improvise than that
match against Las Palmas. After that, there is only one game left - the Copa del Rey final against Deportivo Alaves. Roberto is also suspended for that one.
